The Children's Book Class is a two-semester course focused on helping Southern California-based writers write, edit, and publish illustrated picture books. In addition to a writing workshop, the curriculum focuses on studying the biographies of other children's book writers and fostering a community that holds writers accountable for finishing their books. This class guarantees a fully illustrated, bound children's book for all students who complete the course.
