The Children's Book Class

*Registration is waived for students who pay the first month of tuition up front. 

The Children's Book Class is a two-semester course focused on helping Southern California-based writers write, edit, and publish illustrated picture books. In addition to a writing workshop, the curriculum focuses on studying the biographies of other children's book writers and fostering a community that holds writers accountable for finishing their books. This class guarantees a fully illustrated, bound children's book for all students who complete the course.

Orientation/Classes will be on August 17, 2022, at 6 pm PT (via Zoom).

Step One

Fill out an application. Attend an interview with one of our admissions representatives. Wait for your letter of acceptance or denial (received within one to two weeks of your interview). 

*Applicants, please select 'Children's Book Class' cohort on the application linked below. Tuition for the Children's Book Class is $330/month

Step Three

If you have been accepted and are registered, click on your preferred location below to complete the process.
