CLASSES

POETRY ANTHOLOGY CLASS

Level 1 

This class is focused on teaching authors the fundamentals of writing poetry, as well as establishing the habit of reading and writing on a daily basis. The class culminates in the publication of student work in our annual anthology.

POETRY PUBLISHING CLASS

Level 2 

This class focuses on training seasoned poets to create and finalize a manuscript for publication. The class culminates in the production of a book, and our annual AuthorDraft event, where authors pitch their manuscripts to local publishers.

ALUMNI WORKSHOP

Level 3 

Alumni Class This class focuses on helping CLI Alumni to continue the process of workshopping, and studying the biographies of other published authors.  The students in this class support the Sims Library of Poetry.
